Popups.....Sort of!

Since last night ive started getting loads of pop-ups on my laptop for some reason. Thing is tho they open in a new tab so im not sure how to stop them, anyone got any idease before my fist goes through the screen :evil:

Also ive ran virus scans etc and nothing is showing up..

Try running some anti-malware (Spybot SnD/Malware bytes) and see if they catch anything.

Install. Update. Run: SUPERAntiSpyware (free version)

And what anti virus package are you running?

Ive got AVG free on now but i have the better version (cost £30 iirc) so will put that on sometime.

AVG couldn't find it's own way home never mind find and cleanly remove malware. Run the above superantispyware along with spybot s&d and put Avira's Antivir anti virus package on and update and run that. If those three don't find and cleanly remove the infection then you've got problems.
