Allen bolts

What's the standard size for mudguard and rack bolts? And where's best to buy good quality sensibly-priced bolts? My tourer's got a mix of allen and screwhead bolts and most of them are too soft and the heads have rounded out so they need replacing.

    M5 these days though some older frames were 2BA.
    I've added a signature to prove it is still possible.
