I'm intending to pick up a new bike this weekend.
It'll be boxed and require some construction at home.
I want to make sure that I apply lube/grease during the build as necessary, and also have some suitable lube/grease for ongoing bike care.

Now, I went over to CRC who are my preferred online supplier. They've got somewhere near a billion different products. Wtf?

Having read threads on here, the Sheldon Brown site, Bicycle Tutor website etc. I've come to the conclusion that I still don't know what the hell to buy.

One thing that I do seem to have found is that Finish Line are a well respected brand. So, with that in mind, can anyone advise which products I should get for my purpose.

The bike, btw, is a fairly cheap hybrid that I shall be using during summer and early autumn to commute 3 miles to and from work each day. Very few hills to put strain on components, but I do like to pedal hard.
