Oh, and I forgot to mention: It was built almost entirely from spare parts, charity from friends and very cheap Ebay bits.
The wheels, brakes, stem and tyres were new from standard sources. Nothing else was.0 -

I should be getting a decent chunk of money fairly soon. I'm thinking of actually spending a bit of it on this bike, because when I move very close to a train station as I will do in July, it'll actually get ridden a lot more than it is now.0 -

Just weighed it again at 11kg. I think I may have had the front wheel resting just slightly on the ground before (I weigh with fishing scales under the saddle). :oops:supersonic wrote:10kg?!0 -
