What would you do - inner tube slime related

After getting on average a puncture every 3-4 weeks between October and Februrary I got some Specialised Armadillos on a workmates recommendation and used some slime innertubes as a secondary line of defence.

Sods law after about a month of riding I got a flat, however with the slime tubes the tyer seems to just partially deflate, too flat to ride on but not flat enough to remove.

I've tried letting the rest of the air out of the valve, but the slime seems to prevent this from happening.

At the moment I'm having to resort to carrying my stand pump in my rucksack and stopping every 4 miles to reinflate the tyres :(

I tried Slimes for my commute but threw them away. They saved me from one puncture only but caused two: I got a pinch flat that they didn't prevent but the "Slime" prevented a patch adhering properly. After two failed repairs (each of which lasted about a week) I slung both inners away. I've had less flats on regular inners and there's no mess - and patches stick.

I'm thinking of ditching them. They seem to get you home if you do get a flat, but then it seems to be a nightmare delaing with them after that - i.e. impossible to change.

I'm starting to get a bit dispitited with cycling at the moment. I seem to spend a fortune on repairing flats and changing tyres :(

get decent tyres and ditch the slime inner tubes i found them more hassle than they were worth , always had to let gunk out of the valve to check tyre pressures.
