Quick question,

I'm building up a TT bike and have been offered some Campagnolo Skeleton Brake calipers.

My question is are these better or worse than normal Campag Brakes in terms of Aero benefit or is it really much of a much ness and the advantage of them are they are more powerful braking system and say lighter than a non Skeleton pair?

Cheers,

Dru.

The main difference is skeleton ones are a pain to clean if you use the bike in winter! Performance-wise, there's little to choose - given the brake is in front of the fork crown, then the ariflow and aero advantages are minimal. I prefer the older style as you can fit wider tyres for training.
Make mine an Italian, with Campagnolo on the side..

i think the main idea is to make them lighter. the material in the centre of the arm doesnt do as much so they move it to the sides and lighten it up a little.
