Outer Hebrides Routes on Harris

Hi there. I will be going to Harris for a week in August with two mates. We have heard that there is good off road cycling to be had there but have no info on routes. We plan to leave the car at Uig on Skye and take bikes and rucksacs on ferry to Tarbert. Any info on routes and where to base ourselves would be very useful.
Appologies if this has been asked recently but I'm fairly new to this forum.

    MBR ran a story a couple of years back,i'm sure i've got the route card some where i'll see if i can dig it out.
