The Ultimate Peak District Cafe Thread

I'm trying to get a list together of all the decent, cyclist friendly cafe stops in and around the peak district - i.e. the area covered in the Manchester-Sheffield-Derby triangle.
Personally I'm more interested in the Derby side of things, so I'll kick things off with:
The Old Smithy, Beeley
Any other suggestions?!

I'm not from the area, but this was done last year, and there is also a website directory, IIRC...Start with a budget, finish with a mortgage!0

The NT cafe in Edale is lovely in the summer, you can sit out back stuffing your face with scones & tea.
I like the one in Hope too, can't remember it's name. We train on the mountain bikes over that way on in the winter. They have a huge log fire in the back to dry out/warm up near.0 -
Grindleford Caff, just don't ask for mushrooms...0

Espresso in Darley Dale used to be very good when I worked there. Lovely paninis and they used to do a fantastic pork/game pie thing with cheese in called a smokey joe. Although I never used to ride a bike when I went there so don't know how easy it is for cyclists.
The cafe at Monyash is pretty good too.0 -

Great caff, great beans on toast and pints of tea - but I remember having to be prepared for sometimes 'idiosyncratic' service...
also:
+1 forr the Woodbine in Hope.0 -

+1 for Woodbine, best cyclists caff in Peaks.
Railway carraige at Edale, is it still there?
Cintra's in Hathersage - not particularly a cycling caff but a nice tearoom (missus likes it!)
Grindleford Caff is crap - too busy at weekends with weekend warriors on MTB's and on foot.
Any remember Pewit Cafe at Holmesfield?? I'm sure some of you old buggers will.0 -
I'll bet most of the one's I used to go to are no longer there!
Lover's Leap at Stoney Middleton (Must still be there, big climbers' cafe too)
One in Bakewell, down a gap between some shops.
Ambergate, brick thing on the corner of the road from Alfreton.
Youlgreave (Was there one there?, or has senelity finally caught up with me?)Remember that you are an Englishman and thus have won first prize in the lottery of life.0 -
