Ultegra 6700 STI's and cantis

Fitted some new Ultegra 6700 sti's to my cross bike and my cantis now have so much more power.
I previously have 105 which were ok for brakes but nothing compared to the new babies.
I knew Shimano had changed the pulll but didn't expect it to be this good.
Can anyone comment on the road calipers?
