Compact Handlebars

Have heard many good things about compact handlebars and fancied trying them as I find ergo styles really uncomfortable. I narrowed my search down to the FSA Omega and the 3T ErgoNova Pro. Any thoughts? Anyone know of any other compacts worth a look? I'm looking for something not too expensive in case I don't like them, so sticking with alloy.

I haven't seen the 3Ts, but the Omegas are a good bar. I have a set on my winter bike and liked them so much I've just bought another set for my summer bike.

One nice thing about the Omegas is that they have a relatively long 31.8mm section so there is plenty of room either side of the bar clamp for accessories. I had a look at the 3Ts on their website and they don't look as good for clamping things to.

I have the Omega bars. They're good (although not sure what makes a bad set of bars).

Love the compact drops. Send much more time on them then the longer drops, which
    I found a bit uncomfortable.

+1 for FSA Omegas - made my whole ride alot more comfortable (for me) over the ergos origially fitted.

got the Bontrager "womens fit" bars from Evans, 20 quid, VERY compact and just the job for me .... had to quite cleverly cover up the bloody word "womens" that was quite close to the stem though .... duh!

+2 for the Omegas - the finish doesn't really count for much after you wrap them in bar tape...

+3 for the Omegas. And they're pretty cheap, so if you don't like them its not the end of the world.

Tried Omegas but didn't like the way they flare out on the drops, also the width measurement is taken across the drops so across the tops they are 2cm narrower.
    Now have these Deda Fluida,

Nice compact curve and the oversize clamp section continues along the bar giving a nice fat oval top. Deep groove underneath for cables. Excellent for less than £30.

Another thumbs up for FSA - really like them. Got the K-Force compact for the best bike and loved the shape so much I bought the Wing Pro version when I pranged the bars on my alu bike.
Heard good things about the 3T compact bars so I don't think you'll go too wrong with them - seem to be pretty similar in shape to FSAs

+ 5 - Ive got the FSA Omegas aswell - good cheap bars - nice to get the tops low without the drops being too low - good value for money.
