Well, having been a forum lurker for sometime, I'd though I'd post my pride and joy. Had it since the end of last summer but have only just finshed tweaking the setup. It's a joy to ride, quick to accelerate, smooth on rough stuff and comfortable for long rides.

Sweet and purposeful looking. How's the ride on the selle Italia saddle - I have just ordered on in the hope I can get a day's ride without feeling like I am sitting on a knife after the first hour!

  • Thanks. I managed to assemble all the components from various suppliers at the end of last summer, only for Evans Cycles to offer the near same spec for the near same price about 3 weeks after.

Re: Saddle, its a great improvment on the Specialized Toupe Gel. I still use the toupe gel for my winter/commuter and its fine but, the gel flow is a marked improvement in comfort as it has a little flex in it. So after 3 hours in the saddle it still feels O.K on the rear.
