Central Division Road Champs - Sun 23 May **START SHEET**

With only 2 weeks to go until the closing date, I've only received 33 entries to date. With an 80 rider limit, I really need some more entries before the closing date in order to make the event viable.
Bearing in mind this event was not run last year as no club would put themselves forward to promote, I'd have thought there'd be a bit more interest. :?
Full details of the course etc on the website:
www.neilgardnermemorial.co.uk
£600 total prize fund has been allocated at the minute (dependent on entries received).
PLEASE NOTE:
Your home address must fall within the Central Region area in order to elegible to ride this event - see list of postcodes within the region here:

If I do not enter the welsh I will enter this, sure some other Anders riders will also enter.0

? Spoke to our team manager and he is going to enter a load of us.
A couple of them tried to enter and got entries back saying they were not in the region!!
This is a it nuts because our team is registered in central but some of them live outside region so we seem to loose both ways!!
We get rejected from EERL as they say we are registered team as central, then when we enter central they say can't enter as they dont live in central :roll:0 -
Yes, unfortunately I did have to return one of your teammates entries as he lives in St Albans (which somehow falls in Eastern Region). The full list of qualifying postcodes is as per the link above.
It doesn't matter what region the team is registered to, it's the rider's normal home address that counts.
As to membership of Eastern Road Race League, as far as I know you don't have to be an Eastern Region club to be allowed to join. They let us join and we are Central Div, same as Anders.0 -
The main requirement to joining the ERRL is that your club must promote (or assist in the first year) a ERRL Race.
Divisional Champs are open to those members resident in that division, with the exception of the Welsh Champs as this is deemed to be a National Champs, so people born in Wales can enter. Similar ruling for foreign based riders in the Div's IIRC.0 -
57 entries as of yesterday's post......still a few places to fill
Breakdown so far......
3 x Elites
6 x 1st cat
29 x 2nd cat
19 x 3rd cat
Doesn't Central Region have many 1st Cats or something?0 -
