Hi All,

I've just finished building this- My first custom build!

I had an old Hardrock which was always to big for me, so when this frame came up on Ebay I decided to make the change. In terms of parts its a mix of old, new and ebay specials :D

Only thing I want to change at this point are the grips which are leftover from my old bike.

    awesome :D 8)

are those forks lowered? it's just they don't look 140mm long and i didn't think the frame could take that much travel anyway :?

Wow you're good! spot on about the fork length- They were an Ebay purchase and are OEM off a Trek and have been set at 120. Speaking to Mojo about this specific fork they said that getting the full length back is a simple as removing some internal gubbins. Many Trek owners do this apparently, So I will do that when they need servicing next. Not sure what the ideal fork length is for the frame, but it feels good so far.

Finished it this morning so went for a shakedown ride and am a very happy bunny. Very different to what I was used to- hoisting the front wheel up is so much easier, and the fox fork is so plush! Small frame is easy to throw around and the tyres hook up so much better than the fireracers I had previously. Only downside is that rolling on tarmac is like dragging a dead horse through soft sand!

Gears are not quite shifting right so I've got some tinkering to do, but other than that I'm made up with it
