London to South Coast Off Road Bike Ride 2010

Has anyone done this before?

Going to be getting the miles in for this one as rumour has it, its a toughy.

    i havent done it before, but i am doing it this year so ill see you there :D

    and ive heard its pretty hard work :) should be abit entertaining at the very least

    I've not done it (I don't have the commitment for that) but my friends have done, the hardest part is the Sussex Beacon. Since I ride around the beacon area I'll agree that after 50 miles the last thing you want to do is go up a almost never ending hill at the last bit of the ride. Just get some hill practice in.

    me and a mate did the first one in 2008,

    it's pretty easy to be fair, nothing like a Merida Marathon, there are a few hills in Surrey and then the final slog up Truleigh, the Down Link path is a bit boring,

    my mate did not training for it, which slowed us a bit, took us 9 hrs, other people were completing is in 4-5hrs,
