When I had my Boardman I changed mine to Ritchey Carbon as well without any problems. Just make sure you don't over tighten anything and you'll be fine :D

Aye as J says, its a straight swap but you do have to be careful with tightening as the screws will just push in. Be aware of flex when riding too, its not major but you do notice it.

Well I wasn't for paying the RRP on Chainreaction cycles for the PZ skewers so had looked out another cheaper pair but then seen these on Ebay so snapped them up.

Rotors are Alligator Sawtooth and came from www.readytoridecycles.co.uk, purely aesthetic and i had a spot or two of rust on the standard ones, I havent noticed any improvment in performance.

Again, a straight swap for the rotors, aslong as you get the right size, they come with new bolts etc.

Cheers for the comments folks :D

Oh and while we are here...looking at picking up some new wheels from Merlin. Hope Pro 2 hubs....but which colour? My sensible, subtle but stylish mind says black but I'm wondering if a more gawdy colour would work. It would be the only splash of colour on it...maybe red? Your thoughts?

Red doesn't work! Nothing to contrast to on the bike...

Black would be the sensible keep it clean choice, or how about Gold to set off the frame decals?

    Your right, should remain classy.

Wish there was a way of trying out different colours.

    Nice, very nice.

My Boardman Team might borrow a few of your ideas. I want to add DMR V8s to mine but want them in yellow to match the CBoardman decals but can't seem to find a good pedal in yellow - any suggestions guys?

Tyre logos don't line up with the valves. And the red bits don't 'fit' the rest of it. New tyres, properly aligned, and she'll be reet.

But they do more or less line up with the wheel decals....

The front one vaguely does, the rear doesn't.

Right ok, they are different now anyway, the amount of times i get punctures im not doing that every time.

...and what red bits? The tyres are brand new....

Oops, only the 'old' photo had uploaded, I was commenting on that.

Well done on the loss of the red bits, and for your slightly improved tyre logo/valve alignment!
