Urgent question

Changed my front tyre this week and inner tube, spend the day today cleaning the bike and applying lubricant etc. Took it for a quick spin to make sure that everything is ok (I have got a triathlon tomorrow). The bike was fine, left it in the hallway and on my way out about 30mins ago I felt the front tyre and it was flat :x
Could not find a "real" puncture but after putting the tube in the sink under water found a tiny leak, it looks like that there are 2 little bumps in the tube about 15mm apart.
Anyway I have changed the tube (checked the inside of tyre, made sure that no spoke was coming through etc.). My question is can i take my front wheel from my old Trek as a spare just in case tomorrow morning it goes to sh1t and don't have the time to fix. Would the front wheel from my Trek fit my Specialized?
Thanks
JC

Sounds like you pinched the tube when you were putting the tyre on.More problems but still living....0

If you are worrying about it then why not swap them over quickly tonight (and back again) just to prove they are OK? One less thing to think about whilst getting to sleep, etc.
AFAIK, the only thing that might need adjusting is the brake so make sure you take some allen keys, etc., (which I guess you would do in any case).0 -

Check the rim tape, had a set of wheels with crappy tape and ended up with punctures because of it. Replaced it with cloth.

Thanks guys, the new tire was a b1tch to fit the first time and yes I may have pinched the tube. Fingers crossed the tire is still ok now. May take it around the block and hit a few potholes just to make sure. I am already nervous, last thing I need is to worry about the bl00dy tire.
Thanks again

Tire held up ok. Finished in 02:05, not great but happy to finish the race. The run was one of the hardest one I have ever did, it was hills after hills and descents. The bike ride was quite hard too as it happens but I have enjoyed the experience and will be back for more suffering.
