Hi all Ive been given a Tora 318 MC compression damper, can I just pop it in a Tora 289,or does the 289/302 rebound damper rod have to be changed as well for a 318 rebound damper rod? Is the orifice different?

Or should it work.

Nick or super might know better.

The rebound damper is a little different, but as far as I am aware you can just put it straight in (plus fill with the correct oil)

Just an update evrything works fine, now my fork does not dive through all its travel :D

On reading my manual (printed from sram) the Tora 289 and 302 DO. NOT HAVE SERVICEABLE BUSHINGS!
Im shocked I thought they were the same lower as the 318,rev etc?
On checking under the seal if your fork has a metal circlip sitting under the foam ring then you have plastic bushes which can not be serviced.(According to TFTuned).
Any body know average life of Tora bushes?
