Hi all Ive been given a Tora 318 MC compression damper, can I just pop it in a Tora 289,or does the 289/302 rebound damper rod have to be changed as well for a 318 rebound damper rod? Is the orifice different?
Or should it work.
Nick or super might know better.

The rebound damper is a little different, but as far as I am aware you can just put it straight in (plus fill with the correct oil)0

Just an update evrything works fine, now my fork does not dive through all its travel
On reading my manual (printed from sram) the Tora 289 and 302 DO. NOT HAVE SERVICEABLE BUSHINGS!
Im shocked I thought they were the same lower as the 318,rev etc?
On checking under the seal if your fork has a metal circlip sitting under the foam ring then you have plastic bushes which can not be serviced.(According to TFTuned).
Any body know average life of Tora bushes?0
