Just been out to prep the bike.
I was just checking all the bolts and noticed the rear brake mount bolt was loose... took it out and its rounded off the 1st thread on the mount its self.
Luckily the rest of the thread is fine so I don't need a new mount.
The brake mount bolts only just clear the mount on the frame so I need some longer ones.
I need new longer bolts before I can go ride (obviously) and I have no idea where to go.
I have a choice of halfords (far away), LBS and i've jsut been to B+Q.
I fu*king hope they have some correct bolts in a longer length.
I'm so fu*ked off.
Not even close

Had a similar problem with my commie. Every mount ive ever bought has come with bolts with washers on to attatch them to the frame, the commie has extra metal round the hole for the bolts meaning with a washer the bolt comes up short just like yours !.
Think i could find bolts without a washer on nopeee! And the washers wouldnt pull over the threaded section of the bolt! Que time with a pair of tin snips and pliers going at a tiny bolt0 -
Yea thats the only option if the LBS can't sort me out, but because the 1st thread on the mount is gone I don't think it would work
I'm gonna be SO hacked off if my plans for tomorrow are ruined0 -
try using a headset bolt and cut it down to the right length that should get you away for now0
