Places to ride in the North East

hi,

are there any other good off road places other than Hamsterly and Dalby in the Sunderland area?

i know I could head over to the Lakes but with my current car it'll take a bit too long, I know Kielder has tracks but are they specific off road type ones like Hamsterley?

There's Chopwell with it's red run, near Consett. Plus there's lots of forest tracks to explorer.
