butterfly / treking bars

Hi,
I have a revoultion country explorer, but cannot get used to riding with drop bars, I am considering changing these to the butterfly type, would i still be able to use same gears and brakes, etc or would I have to replace these as well, dont really want to pay out replacing parts and Im not a very good mechanic, any advice helpful

You will need to change the levers as road ones do not fit onto butterfly bars.
If its height thats the issue, maybe an adjustable stem will help?0 -
thanks, looks like I,ll have to learn to get use to them, dont think its a height issue, probably more old age/ confidence thing0
