I'm thinking of buying one of Ribble's Aero TT frames and was curious to know other peoples experiences with Ribble and their bikes? Any problems with service or with the quality of their bikes at all?

I'm particularly interested in buying from Ribble as going by reviews their bikes seem to offer good value for money. But if anybody else has any other suggestions for good VFM TT bikes then they would be very gratefully received.

I've just bought my new frame and forks from Ribble (see sig), and from order to delivery was 7 working days. That includes workshop time fitting the headset and crown race. They quote 8-10 working days for frame deilvery, but can run to more in busy period. No complaints on their service from me. Have bought other bits from them as well without problem.
  • I've had 2 bikes from them no issues with either, no problems with the numerous other orders i've placed either.

Can be difficult to speak to at times, but i've never had issues with their products or service.

My Ribble frameset has been excellent - great value for money, reliable, good quality (for the cost) - and the delivery was excellent, fast, well-packaged.

Ribble are the best in Britain imho for cheap, good-enough quality frames - sure, you can spend more and get a Planet X or whatever - but Ribble (Deda) do a plethora of cheaper, but quality Alu frames etc, aswell as "higher end" carbon ones . If you're on a budget, consider Ribble - if you've got more cash, then there's plenty of other brands to choose from. Frame geometry and fit is the most important consideration though - check, and check again - then check again ;)

    Check out Kinesis aswell.

Never had any issues with them, and indeed found them quite courteous when had to discuss anything with them. They sometimes take a couple of weeks to get stuff out, but I'm fairly patient and have had no trouble.

Just taken delivery of one of their alloy TT frames- quite impressive for the money.
Can't fault the delivery- came in 5 working days.
Should have the bike rolling by next week.

Bought one of their first SLX frames in 1988, still riding it.
