Saddle Creak?

What causes this?
I'm getting a creak in my saddle as I go over bumps (and even minor scars etc) in the road surface. Must be saddle related as it goes away when I'm out of the saddle. Noise is there whether freewheeling or pedalling and whether resting weight on bars or not, so I'm pretty convinced it's saddle related.
Only thing that's changed lately is that I clamped my lovely new Lidl seat pack to the rails, but this was several weeks ago.
Any thoughts would be great. Ta.

is it an alu seatpost &/or frame and is it a long way exposed? my birdy seatpost was a sod for creaking. a dab of grease sorted it. I've had other alu bits without a sound tho.0

Cheers, sounded like it was coming from seat rails though... I took the post out, cleaned it with a citrus wipe thing and popped it back in. Silence.0

I found a couple of times that after substantial rain, I'd develop a seatpost creak - easily fixable with a rag and s little grease. Just in case that happens to anyone else.0
