Seriously considering changing the FSA Vero.
Chain Reaction seem to have a bit of a sale on at the mo, including...

Would this campag triple work, running with Sora Front and rear(9 spd).
A posted review seems to imply that it would, with the additional purchase of a compatible BB.
Or perhaps this,

With the purchase of BB cups/ new BB?
Help would be appreciated, with added karma if someone could supply details on the required BB for the defy (Italian/english threading etc. etc.)
TIA

I can confirm that having replaced the BB on my Defy that it has english thread. However mate I would like to discourage you from purchasing a triple especially a Campagnolo triple ( definitely a form of sacrilege).I say this mainly on an aesthetic/pride basis.0

I have replaced all the drivetrain on my Defy3- if you look in the my bikes section you will see my Defy with Ultegra SL on it.
I think that you can get that triple chainset still cheap in places. I am pretty sure that it should work pretty seamlessly, but I did upgrade my mechs as well so I am not 100% sure.
On a deviation from OP- did you find the Giant stem really long?
