Suntour XCM V2

Only realised today that the XCm V2s fitted to my Scott Aspect dont seem to acheive the full 100mm of travel. I measured the max that i can get out of them to be about 60mm by going out riding or forcing down on the forks. Is this sound right or is something wrong with them? The bikes less than 12 months old so should still be under warranty. Thanks.

Just checked but without proper measuring id say maybe 20mm at the most?

Maybe the spring is a little too stiff - they tend to be fitted firm as standard and can take a big whack to get any where near full travel.

They can get sticky too - a strip, clean and regrease is recomended every so often.

Yeah tbh i think theyve always been like this as far as im aware, only today i measured it! Also 9 months old so taken on a few bumps. Maybe worth popping it into the shop so they can take a look. thanks
