Has anyone taken part in the Mallory Park evening races this year?

I was wondering whether it was worth leaving work early to head down to take part in a few.

What is the turnout/standard like?

Any info gratefully received.

Cheers,
Rich

  • Good for training, speedwork etc. Or for points grabbing. Watch out for the dodgy triathletes, heard a few mumblings about bad handling by them in last couple of years

I rode one a few years ago - 90 riders in it but there is plenty of room on the circuit, it was won by Adam Blythe who is now a pro with Lotto.

    Thanks Chipper.

On the BC site it says 'EoL only' in the comments; I assume this means entry on the line only??

  • Yeah - they used to be entry on line only, means you have to queue up to sign on - not sure if you need to take an entry form with you or just licence.

Watch out for the lap board as on some evenings if the light is going they can knock a few laps off at some point.

Just take a licence. Not a bad circuit race - I prefer it to Darley if you know that.

it's a hard life if you don't weaken.
