Hi there
I'm looking to get a new bike for getting to work under the B2W scheme. Key criteria are Alfine Hub Gear, disc brakes, mudguards and rear rack (and a max price of £1000).
The top three choices at this stage are:
Cube Hooper

Cotic Roadrat
http://www.cotic.co.uk/product/bikes/roadrat/alfine/
Charge Mixer
http://www.chargebikes.com/products/bik ... .php?id=28
Are there any other models I should be considering or any 'issues' with the models above that I should be aware of????
Thanks!
Rusty

carrera subway 8 '09. it has 8spd alfine, disc brakes, mudguards, rack mounts and is considerably cheaper than those. it's not on halfords.com (for some reason), but it is in stores.0

But it doesn't have disc brakes. It's equipped with rollerbrakes, which are quite different from discs.0
