Cube Stereo Bushes/Bearings

Hi,
I bought a cube stereo off ebay 6 months ago, it was only a month old as the guy had had a serious off and wanted rid. Unfortunately the rear swingarm near the pivot seems to be loose where it joins the frame just above the crank.
Has anyone had any experience of this problem with this bike, or other cube bikes? I've been quoted a £110 repair which i want to try to avoid!
