Hello everyone!
I love mountainbiking and always wanted to get a roadbike. now i got an unique chance of getting a huge discount on the following two bikes: BiXS Sprinter 200 and Wheeler Route 1.6 . (the informations are german only, i hope you can figure out which is which.. ) So I really want one of these two.
Which one would you recommend someone who is a beginner and wants to ride the bike for fun maybe twice a week? what i found out is that the bixs has the better frame and better wheels but the cheaper shimano components. so what brings more fun? unfortunately i have no opportunity to test them..
thanks for your advice!

Hard to say - don't know these bikes. Wheeler has better components and as both bikes appear to be alloy framed with carbon forks I would go for the Wheeler based on the componetry - Ultegra and Mavic wheels - nice.
Both look nice.
Dangerous buying a bike without trying and ensuring you have the right size but if you know your measurements and can get the standover and top tube measurements of the bike to match you then you probably won't be far wrong.Trek Madone 5.9

Welcome to the forum Denner.
I agree with the above re. the risk factor Nick. You have mentioned the frame diff already (7005 vs 6061), but the Wheeler also has the look of a compact with that sloping top tube. Another reason to be careful with your sizing. Good luck with your final choice.
Both look like great bikes btw0 -
thanks for the advise guys!
i ordered the wheeler and hope that i went for the right size. but the dealer told me i can return it if it won't fit. now i have to play the waiting game..0 -
Are they legit? There is already a thread knocking about from someone who has been sucked in by an internet cycle shop scammer.Bianchi. There are no alternatives only compromises!
I RIDE A KONA CADABRA -would you like to come and have a play with my magic link?0
