ultegra 6700 wheelset

has anyone got or know anyone that has got these wheels, are they any good? would i notice any difference from the mavic aksium i have already?

    I've not used either but was speaking to an ex bike mechanic on the weekend who said that the Ultegra rear hub wasn't great and suggested that I avoid them.

    I`ve got a pair, nice looking light wheels, not as "bling" looking as some wheels, only slightly bladed spokes, they are also tubeless as well as clincher tyre compatible if required. Not as stiff as my Ksyrium Elite wheels though.

    Don`t know about Ultegra rear hubs being no good though, the 6700 wheels are pretty new and don`t have the same parts as older stuff, maybe the EX-bike mechanic is talking about older Ultegra stuff?

    Quite possibly Johnny Allez, may well have been the 6600 that caused problems.
