Whats the best diet for maintaining energy levels for diabetics ?[/b]

    I find it depends what time of day you ride, a good meal with plenty carbs is defo the way forward about an hour before riding. Make sure you take ya insulin at the correct time too. A snack of a cereal bars to keep blood sugar levels up mid ride is good, ensure you have plenty water too, ie camel pack.

    Your best is to see your diabetic center and chat to the dietian as they can look at what u eat, what insulin your on and advise whats best for you.
