I was cycling along feeling the power of awesome coursing through my veins when all of a sudden my rear wheel feels a bit soft, you know what it gets worse and eventually I can feel the rim of my wheel on the road slowing me down dramatically.

Has anyone ever had that happen to them before?

I worked it out eventually, apparently you use tyre irons (all the rage with ITB) and replace the inner tube put the tyre back on then put some 'air' in the new tube allowing you to head off again.. it was pretty exciting stuff

Are you sure it wasn't because of a tail wind?

I'd put it down to poor hydration and low electrolyte levels, that or a new headset?

Oooh, I know, maybe it was a "top wind" squashing your tyres flat.

Either that, or maybe you need to eat fewer pies?

Once saw a naked streaker at a cricket match do that over a metal picket fence as he tried to outrun the officials... Left about 20,000 spectators traumatised for the rest of the day.
