Is it me or is it just plain slow? I've tried using it on safari and firefox and it's no different. Anybody else have issues with it?

I always find logging in pretty difficult, get confused between the website login and my membership login.

Generally doesn't help that they have a new front end and then the old website there as well...

Yep, it's awful. The membership renewal only works in MSIE, the calendar is very limited... I have e-mailed them with some suggestions for improvement but received no response. I thought they were supposed to be investing in grass roots cycling? It only needs a few grand and it could be a really good site.

On the up side, its better than ctt...Even though it takes ages to find any information, at least there is some on there!

Wow, didn't expect so many to have issues. As soon as I go onto it, it just makes my computer go veeeerrryyyy slllooowwww...annoying.

All I wanted to do was do a bit of research for a new club in my area to join. Easier way was to ask people on here and other forums i think!

I offered to redesign it when I worked there but they have a 'team' that does that.

The BC site makes me want to smoke crack

  • You want to try the CTT website, as archaic but without the quaint charm of the 'secret' codes used for naming courses....
  • It is such an annoyingly slow site that I hardly ever visit it now because I just can't be bothered with it. I work in web development and am fortunate enough to work with a really hight speed connection at work, where the BC site is better but still slow. On my home PC its almost like having 56k modem speed!! If we churned out a site like that, I'd be expecting to have my knuckles wrapped. They really need to sort it out. What doesn't help is all the rubbish on it.

It is the crappest cycling site.
On-line entry with card/paypal payment would be a start but the site is so freaking slow it's probably quicker to post anyway!

Don't find it that slow but it is so badly put together with illogical menus and a search facility that never finds what you want even though you know it's there somewhere!

Never been on it before so I had to try it - certainly not that well designed but it certainly goes fast enough for me (faster than this one for instance), maybe you're all using slow browsers - I'm using IE....

it "works" fast enough for me in Chrome, but its laid out like a treasure hunt and it takes all day to find what you're looking for.
it should be nominated for awards for the worst designed website. i can't think of a single occasion when I have gone there and easily found the info I wanted.
