replacement ratchet strap for mavic shoes

Hi folks,
I damaged a set of mavic zxellium shoes in an accident at the weekend, and snapped the strap that goes through the ratchet mechanism thingy. Does anywhere know where I can get a replacement strap? It looks like it can be 'wiggled' out and put back in maybe.

    I'd be tempted to drop an email to Mavic directly. I can't see any Mavic stockists keeping spare straps in stock.
