    first time that i've seen that. No wonder that boonen was pissed with the group they just looked at each other and then wheel sucked boonen.

    Self-inflicted suffering from the couple of attacks a few minutes earlier. The Saxo Bank team must also have seen that moment (Boonen taking the energy drink) on the TV they have in the car and instructed FC accordingly.

    Boonen had finished his drink and was only 1 bike behinf FC.
    If you look at the vid, 3 guys went left and FC joined them and Boonen just sat next to HTC guy, so it was his own fault. FC did not actually launch off he just rode with the other three then when they eased off after about 100m he pushed through and kicked and by then Boonene was too far back, You can see him look and try to go but he was too far back, then when the rest just tapped through he realised his mistake and chased, it was his own fault he missed FC go.

    Equally likely that he just didn't have the legs on the day. FC is looking super strong at the moment.
