Diet and Lock advice (nice combo)

First post and straight to the point
After a 10 year break of not biking I'm getting back in to it as an attempt to lose some weight (and also as I really miss it, and have been putting it off for far too long)
But I'm not really sure what sort of foods I should focus on more so to speak.
So I'm just after really some sort of tips on foods to eat and not just in the normal dieting sense, since I will be doing a lot of biking what other foods should I be eating also to compliment that.
Also, on a more bike oriented question, any ideas of a good lock to get for a bike with two quick release wheels and where to get one (UK)
