shimano spd, xt or 520?

im getting another set of spd's for my ht, im currently using m520s on my fs wich i find very good for the money but is there any point in buying the xt over the 520? do the clip in out better ect?

    Get the 540s from Merlin for £31

    I've had a pair for 3 years and they've been great value.

    I run 520s on one bike and XTR on the other.Yes the XTR run a bit smoother,a bit better constructed,and easier to service but in terms of actual functionality there is very little in it.

    Unless you have cash to spare ,520s are all the pedal most will ever need.
