Frame protection / Guards

Hiya, just treated myself to a New Trek Fuel EX9, ive heard a few comments on how fragile the downtubes are and would like to protect my investment. Id like to keep it as neat & unobtrusive as possible ... any ideas??

I use helicopter tape on my downtube it does the trick for me. But i don't have a fuel
That carbon protector looks rubbish though

+1 for heli tape. I use it on all my bikes on the downtube. You can also use it to protect from cable rub
