try before you buy if you can....
I was hooked on the Solo arm and leg warmers and then tried them at the LBS. I really didnt like the fit and TBH they dont feel any different to a roubaix material IMHO, so went with Castelli thermofleece ones in the end that had really good fit, and were cheap from Parkers on ebay The Solo ones just didnt seem worth the big cost...Your Past is Not Your Potential...0 -
pickle...spot on...I got solo arm and knee warmers for Xmas presents...a triumph of marketing over substance in my opinion. neither fit that well, especially the knee warmers. they are both the right size (medium as I can't possibly be a small at 12 1/2 stone and 6ft) but the knee warmers 'crumple' whilst cycling and the arm warmers don't stay up well at all.
best arm warmers I have are the assos ones. did a 100 mile sportive yesterday and never adjusted them once all ride, didn't even notice they were there until I decided to pull em down after 70 miles. my Rapha ones are good too, but thicker than the assos ones, and they came with a jersey I was bought and don't think I'd pay the price for them seperately0
