    Cheers Giant,

What a strange site! They're more interested in telling you about 'The Zig Zag' hill climb than what they actually sell lol.

    Thanks though,
    Dave

It is a really nice shop though, but I fear they're being left behind a little and the internet front

I can't remember the guy's name there but they are definitely doing Edge stuff and handmade wheels using Edge rims. Nice, bloody nice .......

I had a chat with them on the phone about the Edge wheels. They seemed very knowledgeable and helpful. Would love a pair myself!

www.wheelbuilder.com do custom edge wheels. I ordered a set of disc covers last week and they arrived in the UK on friday, fedex rang and told me! Not got them yet as Fedex couldn't get to me in time on Friday so I can't comment on quality.

Mcrdave, try contacting Gem compostites who buy direct from Edge in the US.

I got an Edge 2.0 fork for my bike recently and dealt with Ron from the company.

    Tel: 01689 872448
    mob: 07887 712600
    email: gemcompositesltd@yahoo.co.uk

It took a few weeks for the order to get here. I was told it was because of demand for their products but also due to a change in shipping company they used. Anyway, the fork turned up and was posted to the company building my bike. It was only after that that I was asked for payment.

By the way, if the 2.0 is any indication, the 1.0 you're planning on getting is a no nonsense fork. It weighs next to nothing and will definitely complement your bike.

    Cheers Fella's,

  • Hi guys,

GEM Composites is the exclusive distributor for Edge Composites products in the UK, and I can tell you that Ron has a couple of 1.0 forks in stock now, if he hasn't sold them already and depending on what rake you're looking for. Give him a call as he's a great bloke and will be happy to help you.

Seatposts will not be available for about another 2-3 weeks.

    Hope this helps!
