I went to Ladies Day at Aintree a few years ago, it was exactly as pictured, difference was that year it was about 5 deg C and their was a violent hailstorm after the third race, I was surprised there weren't mass hypothermia casualties, but there again they breed em tough oop north like. Top day out notwithstanding the weather.<a>road</a>0

I went. 7th year in a row. The press always take the piss, but there were some truly stunning girls, and a few very badly dressed ones. Difference between ladies day at Aintree and say Royal Ascot is that the scousers are a thousand times more friendly.
