Quantocks.... Where to start?

Hi,
I really want to check out the quantock trails but have no idea what direction to start from.
Where do i need to drive to and park? I'll be heading down the M5 from Bristol

Any help for a beginner appreciated.

    I posted a top notch Quantock ride on 2 April - see below - this one starts at Triscombe Stone carpark. Other good places to park are Crowcombe Park Gate, Lydeard Hill or Holford. There's loads of great rides - the Quantocks is basically a long whale back ridge with lots of terrific trails thru steep sided valleys - coombes - branching off the main ridge.

    Use OS Explorer 140 - you will get lost but don't worry it's pretty easy to re-orient yourself once you get back on the main ridge.

    The Quantocks are definitely worth the trip - but you probably need a few visits to really get to find the best trails.
