My top 5 guitar players:

5 - Ry Cooder, can anyone slide like this dude?
4 - Matthew Ashman - Bow Wow Wow would have been nothing without him
3 - Rory Gallagher - Dedicated to guitar playing, as opposed to booze and fighting
2 - SRV - Stevie Ray....nuff said!
1 - Hendrix.....marshall, strat and talent!

My top 5 woods:

5 - Ebony, difficult to work with, but gives a beautiful finish
4 - maple, Again, a hard woord, but with lots of grain and personality, especially flamed varieties
3 - Cocobolo - How the hell does it go orange?!
2 - Rosewood - dark, Brazilian and fine!
