I'm betting that most everyone thinks that they make good stuff. It may or may not be considered stylish and it's d*mned expensive but it's good stuff.
As for the socks, well, not my style or price range but once again very likely a great pair of socks nonetheless. They had better be for that kind of money.0 -
The second Tweed Run is tomorrow with an entry limit of 400 riders. It sold out in two hours.

So to answer your question, yes plenty of people will buy them.0 -

Ahhhh. I have nowhere near enough class to be allowed to even watch along the route, let alone participate. :oops:0 -
I already own socks like that...not rapha ones though. Nowt wrong with a bit o' tweed lad.
My grandad (was a farmer) was buried in his tweed jacket as he never took the bloody thing off so family thought he would have appreciated that. Oh and matching flat cap. God bless him! There is never redemption, any fool can regret yesterday...

oh I like rapha - reassuringly expensive Just got my pink stowaway jacket and think it is beautiful.
I do quite like the socks. I wouldn't buy them but I'd look twice at whoever was wearing them.

These are rather nice (and nicely priced compared with those of similar quality from certain West End fashion stores in WC2). http://tweedrun.com/?page_id=306&catego ... duct_id=140
