...TGIF! 8)

Awesome commute in today. Rode on 'feel' rather than with the GPS. And, I feeeeel good. Shall spend most of the day looking busy, whilst surfing the net for prospective future purchases.

How's the rest of the internet this fine (and sunny) morning?

    fantastic

Last day at work before a week in scotland with the family :)

Only black cloud is realised last night that my P7 needs too much TLC to come with us. So I think I will be pulling the kids in the trailer on a singlespeed - thankfully Scotland is flat..............

Thank your chosen deity it’s Friday!

Sun out again, weather looking good for the weekend, bring it!

What’s everyone’s plans for the weekend? Me:

Today – Half day then off to entertain offspring. Might see if the wife’s BSO is in any kind of working order.
Saturday – Maybe out on bike with wife and kids. Looks like the 1st proper weekend where we can take them to a park and let them go crazy.
Sunday – Off to Swinley with the brother and a mate of his, will see if I can break them again. With the weather we've had this last week it may actually be dry there! Then hopefully blag dinner at in-law’s.
Monday – Unfortunately a day off to go to my Nan’s funeral.

I’ll have had 3 4 day weeks in a row.

    Is it 1:45 yet?

    Morning happy campers!

It's a beautiful day today, but sadly I had to drive in as I'm collecting equipment from work for the weekend.
Tomorrow I'm at a friends wedding, which was going to be amazing until I got asked to play the organ (oo-er) for somewhere on Sunday morning, so I won't be able to get completely hammered like I intended.

Today will consist of doing a few jobs, nothing too taxing, and then also looking for a bike carrier for my car. Got in touch with Saris and they don't think any of their racks would be suitable for a Fiat Punto :? at least the were honest i suppose.
It takes as much courage to have tried and failed as it does to have tried and succeeded.

Good Morning, just trying to be good and do uni before I nip into uni for my weekly dyslexia tutorial, then for some reason which I can't understand now, I agreed to do an extra shift at work so shall be going straight there afterwards and resisting not to drown any annoying kids.

    good morning, people!!!

good commute to work this morning.. not looking forward to next week when the road will be busy again after school holiday..:(

    my plan for the weekend:
my OH's dad is coming over to stay for the weekend, mainly for doing the gardening for us and install the new gate.

I might try to see if he would like to take me to the recycle place to drop off the broken fridge and maybe swap for another broken fridge** because i can't drive and the OH still abit annoy with it... time and fuel wasted for picking it up in the first place and all that

**long story short, i need a fridge for home brewing so i can keep it in room temperature in the shed but the one i got was so old style that the shelves are not removable as the pipes are fixed into it, so its no use for home brewing...

    Good Morning,

Fine weather down here today, commute was good, looking forward to the ride home - planning the best offroad route as I have the IFT at my disposal due to the current lack of commuter hack. Oh and Friday means a trip to bagel shop at lunch :)

    You anywhere near there? :D

You doing the 50 or 100k El Cap? You doing it with Mr Hazel?

I would assume with your timings that you're doing the 50k, mind you you're not as unfit as me are you LOL

    Are you riding this?

I'll be doing the 50km, hopefully with Mr Hazel. A few years ago, I'd have thought nothing of doing the 100km route, however I would now struggle to carry enough food to last me that long... :(

not far i think about 15 - 20 miles by road but its quite close to the common which has some pretty good trails on it

EDIT: more like 25 miles but still a short car journey to some nice riding

Oh no Cypher - that's harsh. Hope it all works out - it usually does.

My XT chainset and BB arrived earlier - so I now have all the kit ready for a major overhaul of my lovely Stumpy - new chainset, cassette, chain, brakes, cables, possibly rear hub and ermmm - that's about it!

The 2010 XT chainset is a work of flipping art! Stunningly made. The SRAM cassette is pretty tasty too - both are very light too.
