Hi Guys
Not ridden my mountain bike for a while so just took it for a quick spin on some paths and it seems that my front break seems to have developed a shudder when braking hard
Any ideas why and how to sort it?
the bike is a 2009 rockhopper by the way

Get some disk brake cleaner or IPA and clean the rotor and pads. and maybe even gently rub the pads with a fine sand paper to take the glaze off. then re-bed the pads0

I had the same problem with my rear brake and turned out to be that the caliper bolt's had worked their way loose0
