Hellooooo there guys!
I've been a keen observer here for a little while so thought it was about time I jumped in at the deep end and showed off my pride and joy.
Over Christmas my old Marin Nailtrail was nicked and so I was in the market for a new bike. Got this beauty off the bay early in January for a pretty reasonable price I think, 500 quid. She was totally standard when I got her so I've gone and added a few new bits to replace worn stuff and make it bit shinier. New bits were:
FSA XC-190 Alloy Bars, 630mm width, 20mm rise.
FSA OS-150 90mm Carbon/Alloy stem (bit shorter than standard - i've got midget arms!)
Halo Hex skewer in red for the rear
FSA SLK Carbon seatpost ('cos it looks sweeeet)
Red Superstar seatpost clamp
Red Superstar grips
KCNC valve caps in blue
Wellgo MG-1's in black
Carbon bottle cage
Cateye Strada wireless computer in red
Hhmmm thats actually a bigger list than I remember, anyways, the pictures! Whats the betting that I mess this up?

Hope you all think I've done a decent job there. The new stem and bars bit her so much better on descents and haven't hurt the uphill performance as far as I can tell. This thing really does climb like a goat!
Apart from what I have changed the spec can be found on this linky http://www.specialized.com/gb/en/bc/SBC ... nuItemId=0
I know I need to change the tyres, 'cos they really do suck. Can of worms time, but what would everyone suggest?
Thanks for having a look,
The Munkey

Cheers guys I do love a spesh frame. You just know its quality, so you can always upgrade and the frame will be up to it.
I'll check out those captains James, cheers.Look 566 viewtopic.php?f=40044&t=12892775&p=18015091#p18015091
