sorry Westerberg, not helpful at all, if it were me I'd be looking handbuilt, pretty sure you'd be able to get top(ish) Campag/Shimano hub, Mavic rim and DB spokes for similar money, maybe less, that'd be my advice/choice0

Cant see how the hubs on Jetfly's would be up to the Zonda's record ones (which im pretty sure they are) ...have had good reviews though, got an editors choice in one mag if you go by mags. Shimano ones will be lighter but braking surfaces are thinner so wouldnt be thrashing them around in gritty wet conditions myself. Sure Mavics are good, had lesser fulcrums, hubs were rubbish, sure higher ones are better, you'll always find someone who's had a problem with something though.
Taxes on the above post Id expect about £10-£15 courier charge for collecting the extra and 21% ish of the cost so about £390-395 something like that0 -
I've got Novatec Jetflys and they seem pretty good. Mine had already done 2000km on a junior's race bike, but are absolutely true with very even (and tight!) spoke tension. I've done another 3 or 400km on them, mainly tts and chaingangs on potholed Sussex roads, and they are still spot on. I've never had any bling wheels, so my only comparison is with Bontrager Select (shite) and Open Pros on Hope III hubs. While the latter are undoubtedly stronger, the extra weight is evident and the Jetflys feel a lot faster, even to this novice.
The hubs are very smooth, the QRs (while pretty naff looking) are very positive and the rims seem pretty strong so far. My only caveat is that for a heavier rider (I'm 85-90kg), the front flexes a bit when honking and I've seen a max rider weight of around 85kg quoted somewhere. That said, all the time I'm not breaking spokes or throwing them out of true, I'm happy.0 -
just put some DA 7850 SL on my 'good' bike. Very impressed. Not superlight (1571g on my scales) but very solid, and you have the benefit of being able to run tubeless (I'm running Hutchinson Atoms at the moment). Tubeless is the way forward IMO.Facts are meaningless, you can use facts to prove anything that's remotely true! - Homer0

Just put a set of Fulcrum Racing 3,s on my Pinarello. Not had a chance to get out yet due to an accident a few weeks back but can't wait to see what a difference they make.
Picked them up for £350, see link below

They get a pretty good write up in the Bikes and Gear section.
