My Specialized toupe is going slightly yellow/pink (red bits are wearing off). Thankfully though its starting to match the rather patchy yellowing of my Wilier's white finish

Disk Brake cleaner seems to work.

Actually remembered a get me by trick for white bar tape... lots of Mr Sheen furniture polish and a clean towel to get it off.. sadly no use for saddles unless you want frictionless seating

Wilier will change your frame if you complain. I had an Izoard that went yellow and they changed it. So did others on this forum. The paint also came off too easily.

Could be a case of acidic sweat or the lube you use.

Just replace your chamois creme with thick bleach and it'll stay as new

  • 3500 ish miles on my white toupe team and its still white enough to be described as white, if it had gone yellow it would have been binned. i am considering going fizik and looking for excuses.

ha ha, yeah change your lube WTF, i don't generally lube my ass (ever!) but whilst cycling certainly nothing other than naturally generated sweat and hair. lovely.

actually i'm telling lies, i do own a stick of bodyglide which is wonderful stuff for those afflicted with triathlon-ness.

my 80 quid sella italia slr something or another went yellow after about 10 rides. It now looks shxt and no amount of baby wipes is going to change it. well hacked off.

oh good ..so thats more money on unnecessary replacement bike parts in the near future then....
