Just wondering what is the best way to gain confidence and balls of steele? been riding for about 10 years and have decided to take things further like north shore but im getting older and my brain keeps telling me to hold back and not do the things i did when i was alot younger 36 now so are there any tips you can give me to gain confidence in doing drop offs and other nerve bending moves/
Cheers

Start small, wear protection(knees/elbows). Maybe walk over it first? as long as your not in the way of others?0

Definatly knee/shin pads.
Possibly also a full face helmet and arm pads.0 -
What about learning centers? are they worth it? the only real place to do anything where i live is QE park but its all cross Country no learning centers near here. Also ways of getting fitter in the home aswell as normal riding/ are turbo trainers any good.0

contact the poster above and book a course.
I have not been on one of his courses but i have had some 1 on1 refresher days etc.
just to un-learn some bad habits."Do not follow where the path may lead, Go instead where there is no path, and Leave a Trail."

Start small and work up. I have this idea that if I could jump off without my bike I could also jump it when riding my bikeMy Website - Trail Centre info for the UK: MTB Trail Time0

I have a Pitch Pro 10 is this good enough for Northshore and what would you change on it as upgrades go? And Braided hoses what do i need as the braking system is a mix of jucy and elixir.0
