Ribble - good buying experience

Looking to move from my Orange mountain bike to a full carbon road bike with Ultegra gear, I came across Ribble due to the attractive prices (March 2010).
From my Google search I was a bit put off by some of the forum comments posted from a while ago, but decided to take a trip down from Scotland to Preston to check out the bikes and service.
I have not been disappointed by my trip, the patient service and the enthusiastic advice has been great. After measured up on the bike jig and selecting the Grand Fondo frame with detailed advice on gear configuration to balance my hill work with long distance rides, the online bike builder has been great to tailor the bike specifications to my budget.
Delivery is expected at the end of April, but this is a customised mail order bike so I would say it is worth the wait. Judging by the number of customers coming into the shop to pick up bikes and parts whilst I was being measured up, I think others agree.

Ivoc: only 2 posts, both identical, both could have come straight from a Ribble brochure. Make your own minds up folks! The words 'must', 'think', 'born' and 'yesterday' spring to mind0
